For many "Bible-believin', church-goin' Christians," the story of Noah is little more than an "arky, arky" built out of "gopher barky, barky." But isn't there more to the total devastation of the whole earth than a flood, a boat, some animals, and a guy named Noah? "Noah Found Grace"

This month our pastor is profiling the story of Noah and the Ark, and today he is giving attention to "Noah Found Grace." He's reading from Genesis 6:5-9 NASB, but the focus of today's message is verse 8, "But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord." He prefers the KJV of this verse better, "But Noah found GRACE in the eyes of the Lord."

He's reading from Genesis 6:5-22, but the focus of today's message is verse 6, "The LORD was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart."

This month our pastor has been preaching "An Unconventional Christmas Sermon Series." It's not a series of sermons on having an "unconventional Christmas." It's a Christmas sermon series that's "unconventional." There are Bible texts that speak of Christ's coming into the world, but they're not necessarily the kind of verses you'll find on Christmas cards. Still, they help to round out our understanding of Christ's birth. Today our pastor brings the series to a close by preaching "New Beginnings" from Luke 4:14-21.
