Our pastor continues a new series of sermons today entitled, "Connecting the Dots," in which we're going to attempt to see the Gospel of Jesus through the lens of a first-century believer (before the New Testament was ever written). Long before Jesus was born as a baby in Bethlehem, there were whispers and glimpses of a coming Messiah. We're going to journey toward Easter Sunday exploring what Jesus meant in John 5:39 when He said, "...the Scriptures...testify about Me." The only Scriptures Jesus could have been referencing were those that we now know as the Old Testament!

Today we're hearing from Pastor Freddy T. Wyatt about a new church plant here in town that we're supporting, Real Life Church. Freddy T. and his wife, Susan, are both locals but have also served churches in New York City and Scottsdale, Arizona.

The Wyatts face this next adventure of planting Real Life Church with sober minds, childlike faith, and hearts full of expectation. They know that "Unless the Lord builds the house, those that build it labor in vain" (Psalm 127:1).

Pastor Freddy T. says, "We keep it real and we keep it Jesus. We don't have it all together and don't pretend to; but Jesus holds the whole universe together, so we keep our message focused on Him. His glory is our greatest passion." Perhaps some of you will sense the Lord calling you to become a part of this new work. At the very least, join us in praying for this much-needed ministry

For many "Bible-believin', church-goin' Christians," the story of Noah is little more than an "arky, arky" built out of "gopher barky, barky." But isn't there more to the total devastation of the whole earth than a flood, a boat, some animals, and a guy named Noah? This month our pastor has been profiling Noah and, and today he is wrapping up his series by examining "Noah and His 3-Legged Stool of Obedience." Today's passage is Hebrews 11:7.
