On this Resurrection Sunday, our pastor draws his "Connecting the Dots" sermon series to a crescendo. We've been attempting to see the Gospel of Jesus through the lens of a first-century believer...before the New Testament was ever written. Long before Jesus was born as a baby in Bethlehem, there were whispers and glimpses of a coming Messiah. So, our journey toward Easter has been one of exploring what Jesus meant in John 5:39 when He said, "...the Scriptures...testify about Me." The only Scriptures Jesus could have been referencing were those that we now know as the Old Testament!
