Joyful fellowship with God and each other. That sounds nice. And you've likely experienced some measure of it here and there in life so far. John writes to the churches in 1 John with the goal of helping make our joy complete, perfect, full (1:4). But often, on this side of the new heaven and earth, we experience something much less: fellowship in our homes, workplaces, and churches that is distant, strained, or broken. Things are not the way they are supposed to be. This Sunday we'll hear how to move toward more joyful fellowship.
