कुछ किताबें ऐसी होती हैं जो पढ़कर पूरी कर लेने के बाद आपके मस्तिष्क में दुबारा शुरू होती हैं.. "कसप" भी ऐसी ही किताब हैं.. पूरी पढ़ के छोड़ दी...पर लग रहा है जैसे ये किताब मुझे नही छोड़ रही... खासकर डीडी.. ये किरदार अभी कुछ और दिन रहेगा मेरे साथ.. वैसे तो किताब का हर किरदार अपने में अनूठा लगा चाहे वो शास्त्री जी हो बब्बन हो गुलनार हो या मैत्रयी...पर डीडी के किरदार ने मुझपर सबसे ज्यादा प्रभाव डाला... अमेरिका जाने के लिए उत्साहित डीडी जिससे मुझे घृणा हो चली थी उपन्यास का अंतिम पेज आते आते कैसे मेरी दया का पात्र बन गया पता ही नही चला... न चाहते हुए भी जिसके लिये दिल से यही शब्द निकले - "शिबौ -शिबौ"

बेबी भले ही अल्हड़ हो, उसमे एक स्थिरता है। जो कि नायक में नहीं है

The Classic Love Story

Many a times the way writer narrates, reader transcends into the world of cinema, as if you are watching a movie. Specially the end, very poignant.

Its not a book to be read in hurry, but to be read with time at your end, enjoying the narration.

All in all a wonderful literary novel.
