Hindsightless

Yup. This is a thing now.

Let's dig deep into character backstories. The pros, the cons, and the in-betweens. Safer, B.J., Karl, Jason, Daniel and Arlen each leave some super interesting Messages on the topic and they all give me a lot to mull over. Thanks, boys!

Sometimes I stop yaking about games for long enough to actually play them. Crazy, right? Today I offer, for your listening pleasure, two gaming recaps and a review of a new RPG I just picked up. It’s a fun little episode.

Titled after the best-named main character in all of fiction, this episode features a discussion on what it means to be a hero between Daniel and myself.

I had someone call in with an emergency question that I felt needed and warranted an immediate response. Julz From NZ, I hope you find this enlightening.

I have some awesome messages from Jason, B.J., Daniel  and Arlen. We're talking medieval times, monsters and more!

The min/maxing discussion has been put on pause. We may revisit the topic, we may not. Either way, today I have some fantastic calls from Arelin, B.J., Karl and Jason. We talk Curse of the Crimson Throne, fashion, hippopotami, video games, Pathfinder, and more. After the calls I speculate what people, living in a fantasy world, would actually know about the monsters that threaten their lives on a daily basis. It's a real ripsnortin' episode!

It's just me and Daniel. All day, baby! You ready to talk about min/maxing, power building, life in a fantasy land? how to cook steaks, and much, much more? Then this is the episode for you!

I think we could all use a respite from the min/maxing discussion, so in this episode I'll recap the second session of the Curse of the crimson Throne adventure that I'm currently playing. In short, and with no spoilers, it was awesome!!! The adventure presented us with what, in my opinion, were two unexpected and totally rad plot twists which took me completely by surprise.

WARNING: This recap contains  MAJOR spoilers for book 1 of Curse, so if you care about such things, you may not want to listen to this episode. You have been warned.
