Hindsightless

I'm back folks! After a bombardment of episodes from me, I took a little break. Now, I'm back with some hot new calls and a session recap of an amazing session in which I recently played!  What happens when you put me, Spencer, Barney, Andy, Jason, and TJ all in the same virtual room? Sci-fi shenanigans, that's what.

It looks like the Anchorites are planning RichterCon202X and they got some amazing ideas!!! Jason, B.J., Karl, Mr. Henchman, and Andy all throw their hats into the ring on when, where and how this Con should be birthed. Let's get messy!

Here's the link to the Youtube show I was talking about. You should totally check this dude's channel, Historia Civilis. It totally rocks!

I played some games for the first time in what seems like forever! Let's talk about 'em!!!

Games might've been a stretch.

Coming at you faster than the spray from my AK, it's another episode about guns! Jason has some more to say and Karl Rodriguez drops some gun science on our butts. He also talks about the worst RPG ever, though he doesn't know he's doing it.

If that doesn't hook 'em, I don't know what will. Wait... am I typing this or just thinking it? S*@t, I think I'm typing it! I gotta stop!

Hey, Joe! Where you going with that gun in your hand? In what might be the last episode on guns, Barry of the GM Shadow podcast and Collin of the Spike Pit media empire share their thoughts on the subject. Collin and Barry are joined by our good friend Johnny, and Johnny's got a story to tell.

Hello there, boys and girls. Today were going to learn about hydrostatic shock with our pal Jason. Can you say "hydrostatic"? Then, brother B.J. blesses our brains with his waggish wisdom on Walter and the Wardrobe. Lastly, friend T.J. has something yum yum yummy bubbling away in his tummy. Can you say "vegan"? No? Neither can ol' Papa Joe

I'm recording this on the 4th of July, so I figured, what better way to celebrate 'Merica than by talking about guns in RPG's? Today, Jason drops a ton of serious knowledge on the subject. Thank you so much for the calls, Jason. Also, in all seriousness, thank you for your service.

I discuss my first foray into the world of Deadlands and my initial taste of the Savage Worlds RPG. I then discuss a potential pitfall to learning a new game online. Then I have calls from Mr. Henchman, Jason, B.J., and Karl. Thanks, dudes!

Oh yeah, I also talk about guns in fantasy games. I'm sure I don't say anything contentious.

in this episode I get a bit self-indulgent by really exploring what makes each and everyone of these stories from dark mysteries so damn amazing. There are patterns here, folks! Deep patterns. Layers upon layers. Let’s unravel those layers together.

Like a cowled and squalling newborn, freshly freed from its' mother's womb, Dark Mysteries emerges into the world with power.

My undying gratitude goes out to the six people who spent their time and Energy helping me put this episode together. You six truly made this as special as it has become. I love it so much.

They are truly wonderful people, each and every one of them. Please take the time to listen to their tales, and a double please to check out the links below to find more of their awesomely creative selves.
