Hindsightless

My retelling of the conclusion to book 4 of Paizo's amazing adventure path, Rise of the Runelords. As always, major spoilers abound. Is this the best pre-written, fantasy campaign of all time?? Yes. Have I played them all? No.

A fairly short and confuse one for me tonight. Thanks to Karl for the info and call in’s. You’re a cool dude. Be good to each other out there folks.

The first 2 minutes of this episode is a highly charged political rant, so feel free to skip it. I had to record it multiple times because the first couple of takes were too... much. This is the toned down version. I put the rant at the start so anyone can skip over it and get right into the rest of the non political episode.  Cheers!

I recount the three, count 'em THREE, games I played in this week! As always, there will be major spoilers of the Rise of the Runelords campaign.

Thanks for the awesome song Loco Ludus and thanks for asking a great question GM Shadow. If you don't know, now you know.

Just a quick re-cap of this week's Rise of the Runelords game. A few folks have mentioned that they enjoy hearing about my sessions, but these re-caps are really more for future Joe than anything else. I think it'll be cool to have a saved memory of my first ever complete Pathfinder Adventure Path.

It's official. I am, once again, part of the working world. No longer will I have endless free time to plum the depths of gaming minutia. This makes me sad. This opportunity I have is really amazing though. I'll be working directly to better the lives of people. I'm stoked!

I'm also stoked about these two messages. A wicked warm congratulatory message from Spencer and an explosive thought experiment from the ever creative Shawn of An Eldrich Dream Games. Thank you both so very much.

The countdown to my first day on the new job has begun in earnest and I wanted to get in one more episode before the big day.

I have a lot to say about last night's totally kick ass session of Rise of the Runelords (major spoilers for Book 4) and I have two awesome messages from Shawn and Jason. Is that one message from each? Two messages each? Some other ratio of messages to caller? Answers to these Earth shattering questions, and more, can be found right here, right now!

I talk about the first session with my new character, respond to a couple of call in's, and talk about the future.

Thanks to Jason, Karl and Barney for the messages. You boys are awesome!

A collection of call in’s. A myriad of messages. A voluminous mass of voice mails. I’m a lucky boy😎

A gigantic thank you to:

John of Red Dice Diaries

Collin of Spikepit

Jason of Nerd's RPG Variety Cast

Barney of Loco Ludus

Shawn of An Eldritch Dream Games

You dudes are awesome!

The tale of my most recent session of our Rise of the Runelords campaign. There are a couple of spoilers for the adventure path, so listen at your own risk.

I have a slew of voice messages about my last episode, but I wasn't in the right head space to play them in this episode. I'll get to them next time. I promise.

Jason of Nerd's RPG Variety Cast was kind enough to leave me some messages about the upcoming Dune movie. Turns out I have stuff to say about it, too.

With the world being as messed up and scary as it is today, this quote from Dune is more true now than ever before;

"Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me."
