His Life, Now! with David Hughes

Jesus’ invitation was to receive the bread from heaven that satisfies – and He was that bread of life!  Come and trust in Him – a relationship experienced through our response to His finished work of love and grace, not His response to our ongoing works and efforts!  Through faith we can enjoy a true habitation of rest […]

To all the wounded, hurting and discouraged … Look! God is here!  You are not forgotten.  We often pray, “Lord, let me be in your presence!”  And the Lord replies, “Let me be! … in your presence!”  Jesus wants to show up in the midst of us and show off the goodness of God.  He […]

Isaiah saw the Lord high and lifted up and seated on a throne.  With so much going on around us as so many try to build and establish their own kingdoms we must be careful to not neglect the REAL KINGDOM!  Open the eyes of our heart Lord to see your rule and reign by […]

The disciples ask Jesus what must we do to work the works of God – His reply was believe on Him whom He has sent.  The work of the new covenant is faith!  Redemption is received by faith and lived by faith completely given through grace.  Jesus desire is that we would trust grace and […]

What a powerful reality – the Word became flesh!  God got a body and became a man.  Why?  Because of love, it was redemption’s only way to bring us into relationship and eternal union with our Lord.  The manger was the beginning of Jesus earthly experience, but the cross and resurrection was the reason there […]

Those who received and believed He gave the right to become children of God.  Jesus said to repent (change you mind) and believe for the kingdom of God is at hand – this He said almost 2000 years ago.  His desire is for us to change our mind (to His word) and receive and believe […]

In Jesus is life and that life is the light of men.  Jesus came that we might have life and have in more abundantly!  He was the Light that shined into darkness and the darkness can not overpower His light.  So in Him we have life and light that is greater than all the death and […]

All things came into being through the Word – through Jesus!  And we can become eyewitnesses to His majesty when we see His creation through His eyes by the revelation of the Holy Spirit.  And the greatest of all of His creation is the new creation that we have become in Christ.  We are all […]
