RESTORATION!
I have to admit that I don’t watch that much television, but I do enjoy tuning into HGTV and watching some of the shows where they restore old houses that are basically falling apart.  It’s amazing the before and after pictures after one of those homes have been restored.  It reminds me that sometimes people even need a restoration in their life.

ABSOLUTE TRUTH!
There is nothing in this world that irritates me more than anything than theft or someone being untruthful.  I’ve seen my fair share of untruths in this life and it is so disheartened because I see it among so many who claim to be believers.  We know untruths as lies, falsehoods, fib, fabrications, deception, premeditation, made up stories, etc.    The list goes on and on.

THE LORD BLESS YOU AND KEEP YOU!
When I was in Israel, I purchased a silver ring with Numbers chapter 6:24 inscribed on it.  Sometimes I will wear this ring in place of my wedding band.  This verse says, “The Lord bless thee, and keep thee:”  If you read on, it says that he is gracious to us and His countenance is upon you, and He gives you peace.  These verses are such an encouragement.

READY, SET GO!
Jesus said in Matthew 10:24-26, 

24 The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord. 25 It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household? 26 Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.”

PLASTIC!

The reality is that someone is either a genuine Christian or not.  The behavior of many people who claim to be Christian is the reason that so many people either don’t become interested in Christianity or ask the question, “Why are there so many fake Christians?”

GUIDED BY THE SPIRIT
Before Jesus returned to heaven after the resurrection, He promised His followers that he was not abandoning them, and that His Spirit would come and indwell within them.

THE DEVIL IS INFILTERATING OUR CHURCHES!
 

The devil has been using a method of infiltration for thousands of years. That method has entered into the churches of America. There seems to be no revival, and more people are being born into the world physically and very few being born into the family of God these days.

HURTING BELIEVERS! 
The truth be known, we don’t expect God’s people to behave like those without Christ in their lives.  Being around other Christians should bring safety, acceptance, and forgiveness.  The pain that is caused from hurt from Christians or church people is a silent destroyer because of the devastation it causes in the heart, mind, and soul of those who have been wounded.

HANDLING FEAR!
As we look out into what is happening in our nation it is hard to not fear what is going on and the uncertain future.  There are two fears from a biblical standpoint.  One is fearing the Lord, which is actually a good fear.  If you want to receive blessings in your life then you should fear the Lord Jesus.
