God’s Abundant Grace!

Psalm 23 is a beloved passage that has brought comfort and reassurance to countless souls throughout the ages. In the opening verses, the psalmist declares, "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul."

In the Gospel of John, Jesus uses the analogy of a vine and its branches to teach us about the importance of abiding in Him. He says, "I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing."

In the Gospel of Matthew, Jesus tells a story of two builders, one who built his house on the rock and the other who built his house on the sand. The one who built on the rock is likened to a wise man who, when the storms came and the winds blew and beat against his house, it did not fall because it had been founded on the rock. However, the one who built on the sand is compared to a foolish man whose house collapsed when the storms hit, revealing the instability of his foundation.

In the Gospel of Mark, we encounter the story of a rich young ruler who approached Jesus with a burning question: "Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?" This young man seemed to have it all – wealth, status, and a desire for something more, something deeper that his possessions could not fulfill.

In the book of Hebrews, we are reminded of the assurance and steadfastness of our hope in God through a beautiful analogy: "We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure."

ISOLATION!
"What Causes Isolation?" So, in this series, we are going to be talking “Fear Not” and how we as Christians should overcome our fears. II Timothy 1:7 says, "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind."

JUST BEING YOU!
As Christians, we should genuinely be who God made us to be.  The question we must ask is does our words match our walk?
