There are some people in difficult situations who blame others for where their life is today - some adults blame their parents!  What!  Some even place the blame on God! Oh No!  God can and does bring help and deliverance, but you’ll never get there by blaming and focusing on your problems. In I Corinthians 15, God’s Word calls death an enemy. Would an enemy bring you right to Jesus? Would an enemy put you in the arms of a loved one you lost? Death is indeed an enemy, and since it is, we need victory over this enemy.

That victory will come when Jeus Christ returns to gather together all those born again, both those who have died and those who are alive.

I Corinthians 15:54-57:
So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.

But thanks [be] to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

In this episode, no matter how old you are, even when your hair is grey, in fact even if you have no hair, God has promised to carry you and deliver you. His Word says, I will never leave you nor forsake you!  We can trust God our whole lives. (3:28)

When it comes to love, God set the bar very high. I John 4:11 says, “Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.” Ephesians 4:1 says, “Be ye therefore followers [imitators] of God, as dear children.”

God also set the bar very high for forgiveness. The two go hand in hand. God loves and forgives us, so we in turn love and forgive others.

This month’s teaching is from Jube 14, 2026, entitled, “What Are You Thinking? (31:55)

Do You Know Why, in so many places, the Bible talks about our thinking? Because God knows, as we think in our hearts, so are we. He knows that out of our own hearts come the issues of our own lives. He knows death and life are in the power of the tongue.

In II Corinthians 10, in talking about our thinking, God tells us we have some mighty weapons in order to cast down, or demolish ungodly strongholds. Why would we need to cast down or demolish these ungodly mental strongholds? Because they greatly interfere with our believing and trusting God.

God wants us to be blessed, live abundantly, and receive His help. And with the right understanding of God’s Word we can demolish those ungodly strongholds, by replacing those wrong beliefs with theTruth of God’s Word.
