SOMETHING SPECIAL!  In addition to the regular His Word podcasts, which are all under 5 minutes, His Word will begin posting a, “Teaching of the Month;” a full length teaching from our Westbrook Sunday morning fellowship. This month’s teaching is from May 3, 2026, entitled, “Healing Part 2” (34:05)

In endeavoring to gain more insight into receiving healing, this morning was a follow-up from last week’s teaching.  That teaching is episode 228; link below.

We are aware God’s Word shows us people received healing when they believed. We noted from Jesus Christ what interferes with our believing: fear and doubt. We considered how to eliminate fears and doubts, even if we’re not aware of them.

There’s a Christian remembrance every year that you rarely ever find on most calendars.  There’s no decorations, no greeting cards, and very little parties or  celebrations.  Why?  Is it just not a very big deal, or, was it indeed a very big deal? Have a listen and you decide. And be sure to check out the related information below.   (4:48)

There are some preachers who don’t like to talk very much about some of what I am sharing in this episode.  They feel it gives people a license to sin.  Take a listen and you decide.  (4:44)

Healing from God is available!  Jesus Christ said, “He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.” Because of the complete work of Jesus Christ, the power of God, by way of the spirit of God in us, is real!   Healing from God is available!
Note: The teaching is 28 minutes followed by some discussion.

God loves you because He is love, not because you are so lovely. If you believe God's goodness to you is based on your goodness or your works, then you don't understand Who God is, and you will never really understand what He's done for you that you had nothing to do with. And as a result, your falling short, and your failures, will limit you from accepting how God sees you.  And that will greatly interfere with your relationship with God and you trusting Him.   (4:39)

NOTE: The material in this episode comes from Part 2 of, "It's God I Trust," a four part presentation I am currently working on.  More details on this project will be forthcoming.

This month’s teaching is from March 22, 2026, entitled, “The Only Way” (29:16)

At the event we refer to as, “The Last Supper,” Jesus Christ talked about a number of very important things. This morning we considered something Jesus Christ said during that time. It was a very bold, and very exclusive statement.
