Today on Historically Hip: Restaurant Edition, Times-Tribune librarian Brian Fulton is joined in the studio by staff writer Gia Mazur Merwine and producer and digital editor Laura Rysz. The three sat down with Russell Preno III, owner of Russell’s Restaurant in Scranton, to chat about his family’s century-long history in the restaurant business.
Russell talks about his earliest memories at the restaurant, the family’s authentic Italian cuisine and how it feels to carry on the legacy started by his great-grandparents 100 years ago.
