Manx2 Flight 7100 took off from Belfast, Northern Ireland, on February 10th, 2011, on route to Cork, Ireland. The flight was supposed to be a routine one-hour commuter flight, but various problems led to the horrific crash. The immense fog, the right engine on this Fairchild Metro III's quality, the pilot's inexperience, and Manx2 operating procedures were key reasons why the plane crashed on the runway.
