History From The Back Pages

In this week's History From The Back Pages episode, Collin reviews the horror film M3GAN. The movie is about a robot doll named M3GAN who goes off the rails and starts killing people and causing destruction. If you are a fan of the Chucky film series, you should enjoy this film! 

Host Collin reviews the horror film The Invitation for the first episode of History From The Back Pages for 2023. 

On this week's History From The Back Pages episode, host Collin Sugg reviewed the action thriller The Devil's Own, starring two of Collin's favorite actors, a young Brad Pitt and Harrison Ford. The film's main plot revolves around Brad Pitt's character, a member of the IRA who leaves Ireland to go to New York City to buy weapons. Once in New York City, he stays with Harrison Ford's character, a sergeant in the NYPD, and his family. Overall the film had its highs and lows, but some parts were enjoyable. And it was fun seeing Brad Pitt in one of his early roles. 

Host Collin Sugg reviews the play The Twenty-Sided Tavern, which was held at The Broadway Playhouse in Chicago for a special bonus episode of History From The Back Pages. The Twenty-Sided Tavern is a unique play, different for each performance, with no fourth wall where the audience helps the three main characters, a fighter, mage, and rogue, progress on their journey through voting on a smartphone.  It is like D&D but also different as well.

On this week's History From The Back Pages episode, host Collin Sugg reviewed the classic film To Catch A Thief, directed by Alfred Hitchcock. The film stars legendary actors Carey Grant and Grace Kelly, who play the main characters John Robie (The Cat) and Frances Stevens, Grant's future love interest.

On this week's History From The Back Pages episode, host Collin Sugg reviewed the Halloweeen classic film The Devil Bat. This horror classic stars legendary actor Bela Lugosi as Dr. Paul Carruthers, a mad scientist living in the town of Heathville. Prepare to be scared out of your mind after seeing the Devil Bats grace the screen!!! 

The film Summit Fever's plot is about a group of mountain climbers who aim to climb to the top of the Matterhorn, Eiger, and Mount Blanc during the summer. 

The film was shot on location and did an excellent job showcasing climbing scenes and action sequences. 

The main actors are Ryan Phillippe, Freddie Thorp, Hannah New, and Mathilde Warnier.
