DETROIT LAKES, MN--Detroit Lakes School District Activities will continue as planned as it monitors the outbreak of the corona virus. Board members brought up COVID-19  a number of times at the special meeting of the Detroit Lakes School Board Monday. 

In her report Education Director Renee Kerzman says principals and teachers at each school have preliminary outlines of what would happen if schools are told they have to close. Those plans may include variations of e-learning. 

Detroit Lakes Superintendent Doug Froke says the district is sending an e-mail out to families in the school district regarding the district's response and how it will address activities if it needs to.
