The general public may not be aware but Lakes Area anglers and conservationists certainly are aware of the outstanding trout fishing opportunity in Becker And Hubbard Counties. The MN DNR is taking steps to preserve brown trout habitat on the Straight River in Becker and Hubbard Counties. KDLM's Carol McCarthy shares a few more details from a presentation given by DNR Hubbard County Fisheries manager Doug Kingsly at a recent Becker County Board of Commissioner's meeting.
