August 18, 2019: This message will come from Ephesians 1:3-14 and will take a look at the idea of predestination and it's meaning in light of our free will.

August 11, 2019: This message will attempt to answer the question, What is the significance of Israel and how does it relate to us as Christians? We will look at Galatians 3:23-29; 2 Peter 3:8-13; and Isaiah 65:17-19.

August 4, 2019: This message will focus on some of Jesus' teachings, especially in the realm of humility and thinking of ourselves last. I will use all or portions of Mark 10:35-45; Matthew 23:11-12; John 10:10-11; John 14:6; Mark 8:34-37; and Luke 5:31-32.

July 28, 2019: As we close out the month of July we close out our series from Psalms. This week our focus is Psalms of thanksgiving. I will use all or portions of Psalm 34, Psalm 126, Psalm 138 and Luke 1:46-50. Learning to be thankful can hang give us life-changing perspective.

July 21, 2019: This message is part three of our series on the Psalms and will focus on psalms of penitence. The psalmists give us words to use when we repent of wrongdoing. Psalm 32 and Psalm 51 are the primary texts for this sermon.

July 14, 2019: I will use Psalm 103, Psalm 117, and Psalm 146 as my primary texts with Romans 15:13 as well. This message will look at our second category of Yahweh's Playlist: The Psalms of praise.

July 7, 2019: This new series is called, The Psalms: Yahweh's Playlist (working title)

I will use portions of Psalm 89, 27, 17, 13, 22, and 90 in looking at individual and communal lament. This message looks at how God gives us a way to speak to him when we have no words.

This is part two in our Rewire Your Heart series that we will revisit at different times throughout the year as we look at various aspects of sin. My focus in this message will be our tendency to give Satan power by buying into his lies. I will use a portion of Genesis 3, and possibly Philippians 3:12; Ephesians 4:22-24; 2 Corinthians 4:16; Romans 6:23 and 2 Corinthians 3:18. (I will select from among these and possibly add something else--this one is still evolving.
