As this is the final County Council meeting of the month, there will be no update next week—I, along with two other Hō’ike team members, will be attending a regional conference in Fresno to learn about community media center marketing strategies. We’ll be back with insights soon, but for now, let’s dive into the latest council discussions!

    🔹 Key Topics Covered in This Update:

    ✅ Kekaha Landfill Crisis & Recycling Solutions – Community members voiced concerns over curbside recycling and ways to reduce landfill waste. What are your thoughts? Let us know in the comments! ♻️
    ✅ 2024 Cost Control Commission Report – Two major recommendations were proposed:
    •Mid-Year Resolution to improve budget transparency
