Hold My Banner

Welcome to Hold My Banner, the ultimate podcast for basketball enthusiasts who live and breathe the game. In this episode, we're bringing you the latest buzz and deep dives into the world of hoops.

First up, we’re dissecting the heated altercation involving Derrick White at the Colorado Buffs football game. Who would want to fight the current NBA Champion? Apparently, some Colorado State fans do!

Then, we shift our focus to the NBA’s Southwest Division, zeroing in on the Dallas Mavericks. How did their offseason moves stack up? What should we realistically expect from them this season? Plus, we’re discussing Klay Thompson's potential need for a fresh start and whether it’s time to start pointing fingers at Luka Doncic.

Next, we’ve got a fun and intriguing question from Monday Night Football: Jason Kelce’s thought-provoking query to Jalen Brunson about the crossover between NBA and NFL careers. Would it be easier for an NBA player to switch to the NFL, or vice versa?

Finally, we’re exploring some tantalizing “What If” scenarios in basketball history. What if Anthony Davis had been traded for Tatum, Brown, and Smart back in 2019? What if Dirk Nowitzki and Steve Nash had played longer? And how might the 2017 Western Conference Finals have changed if Kawhi Leonard had stayed healthy?
