This week on the show, Adam & Mat spent a good chunk of time recapping what has become an annual Labor Day weekend trip to Chicago, which for a few days is the epicenter of the professional wrestling world. We met up with some old friends and made some new ones! Despite the weekend being entrenched in wrestling, very little of that on this show (check out Dorkside of the Ring for more on that). This week on the show, we chat about the annual Tecmo Fantasy Football draft and how everyone was feeling after a great evening as we gear up for the upcoming season. Mat was in fact drafting a team in another league as the first half of this one was being recorded (sorry if I seemed distracted!) After that, Sarah quizzes us on celebrity birthdays before Mat hosts a new game called “Hit List” where Sarah & Adam battled it out to be the number 1 contender for the Ramblin’ Rabbi. Enjoy!

This week on the show, Sarah has a heartbreaking update regarding her new furniture, we talk job woes, and of course, attempt to guess celebrity ages on their birthday. Mat reveals a gift from the estranged commissioner of the Tecmo Fantasy Bowl league, Gary Indiana, ahead of the big draft this Sunday. To wrap it up, Sarah pits the boys against one another in some 80’s & 90’s trivia with the Ramblin’ Rabbi on the line. Enjoy!

This week on the show, Adam recalls a family weekend getaway to one of Minnesota’s 10,000 lakes, Sarah talks about the trials & tribulations of “move in” week in Madison, and we all give our thoughts on the Netflix series Trainwreck. It’s about the absolute shit show that was Woodstock ’99, and if you haven’t checked it out, you should. (It’s only three episodes) There are other topics sprinkled in, but that was the bulk of it. What other podcast can you listen to that covers the current state of Jeopardy, two scorching hot sporting events (of of which was sports entertainment, but still), FX's The Bear, Riff-Raff at free festivals, weathermen obsession and a bunch more that I can't remember at the moment? Probably none. In the second half of the show, Adam goes up against Sarah in a new trivia game called Florida Man, where three crazy statements or scenarios are read, one of which is fact. This week on the show we had a visit from Uncle Jon, who, once again let us choose story titles off of a menu board for him to tell on the show. It was a great deal of fun! We also ran down everyone's week since we last sat down. It was going so well that we had no time for games. I hope you enjoy the show as much as we did recording it. On this episode of Hold On, Let Me Tell It we sit down to chat about what we have been up to since last week. We all did a bit of traveling! Adam & Sarah went on different adventures in Milwaukee while Mat headed to Minneapolis for a family weekend. Fun was had by all! Our weekly bags league wrapped up early this week so Adam's mother, Kristi, joined us at the table.
