Dominant quarterback play and a little luck has the Raiders atop the AFC West after three weeks. But don't count out the Chiefs just yet. ESPN released it's annual Top 100 NBA player rankings, and its ripe  for criticism, which we offer in hearty supply. The Dolphins owner wants Deshaun Watson, an actress accused the late Wilt Chamberlain of sexual assault, a news reporter asking Jazz related questions didn't realize she was interviewing a Jazz player, and Stephen Curry weighed in on the Ben Simmons trade rumors. Oh yea, NBA media day happened this week and vaccination status was the biggest topic of the day, as many of the league's biggest stars spoke loudly about their lack of desire to get the vaccine. 

The Bucs sit atop the NFC South, thanks to a dominant 44 year old. Read that again. Sam Darnold looks good. Some other teams have quarterback needs, but it doesn’t look like the Deshaun Watson will be playing football anytime soon. And honestly, could a team play him this year? Questionable. Klay is healthy, Ben is done in Philly, and JJ Redick is retiring. Luka Donic is the pre-season MVP favorite. All that, and ‘Quis and Corey make a few bold NFL predictions.  

After week one, it looks like Aaron Rodgers still thinks he’s in Boulder,  shirtless and frolicking about in the Colorado wilderness. It’s just one week of football, but Kyler Murray looks dominant, Matt Stafford and Famous Jameis look rejuvenated, and Trevor Lawrence reminds us all he’s still got a lot to learn. A new class was inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame last weekend, with one inductee’s unique story catching Corey’s attention. ‘Quis defends Russell Westbrook wearing a kilt at New York Fashion Week. And Carl Nassib is a football player. And he’s gay. But does that matter? All that and much, much more on episode two. 

Teams have locked in on their starting quarterbacks heading into week one, but that doesn’t mean some of these decisions are free of controversy- namely Andy Dalton over Justin fields, and Jimmy Garoppolo over Trey Lance. Ben Simmons’ camp has made it clear he won’t be back in Philadelphia. There are numerous suitors, but a few we think make more sense than others.
