My brother Nick Nasty jumps on episode 13 to give us a day in the life as a Minor League Pitcher in the Giants Organization⛽️

Nick’s path started off in Monticello, Minnesota (The Hockey State) where he was an absolute STUD on the ice at the highest levels of travel hockey in the USA🏒

As he really began focus on college baseball, Mr. Zwack found the best home for him would be Xavier University. Nick found his groove as he settled in at the college level and walks us through the important adjustments he made along the way🔧

The real fun for any college baseball player (outside of the CWS) is an opportunity to play in The Cape Cod Summer League while you’re out of school. Well, Nick got that chance TWICE! Hear us both share stories about living On Cape and how this is where you can find the future stars of the MLB during the college summers!! Autographs, interactions, ticket prices, you can’t beat a summer in the cape😎

Episode XII finds us DEEP in the Big XII with Kansas State Wildcats Catcher : Jayden Lobliner!

Jayden and the Cats are coming off a huge weekend series win at #14 Texas Tech, and have bumped their own squad into the Top 25 NCAA teams in some of the national polls.

The Western New York area has a huge heart for Mr. Lobliner as he was a staple for our Niagara Power Summer Collegiate Team in the 2022 season! Behind the dish and at the dish Jayden showed how his hard work and consistency helps him win again and again and again!

We go through J’s high school into college recruiting process to Kansas State and how Covid played a huge role in his journey! He has some great advice for all of our younger players about what kind of work it really takes to reach this level.

Jayden has been on fire as of recently and I hope you enjoy what he’s got to say about an amazing program in an even more amazing community!

D gives us a ride on the journey through his travel team process, committing to Rutgers University as a junior, and ultimately making the decision to hit the road for the show as a 17 year old stud taken in the draft! Although he may or may not have found out he got drafted by Twitter before hearing it anywhere else!!!

As a new member in our city we cover some of the absolute musts when you have very little time off in WNY - and Diesel hits us with some of his favorite food + hang out spots with the boys when they get their rare break from the baseball field!

P is currently top 3 in the nation in On-Base % and a staple in one of the best offenses in the country. Payton has taken a very unique path to arriving at Coastal, and he breaks down how he feels “lucky” to have gotten the chance! He spent 1/2 the summer with the Niagara Power in 2022 and it was easy to find out what kind of stud he was as he was in talks for Player of the Year up to the All-Star break.

We walk through PEEL’s recruiting process and touch on how he always knew he could play at the highest level of the Collegiate game even when he was a high school student athlete. The transfer portal can be a scary place, and P gives us a checklist of what you need in order to find the right school & more importantly help the right school find you!

Episode IX comes at you from the ATL where we catch up with our good buddy Jack Rubenstein! Rubes is a catcher for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets in the ACC, and he has been seeing the baseball well at the dish as of late! What’s interesting about Jack’s path in the college game is that he graduate transferred to Georgia Tech from Emory University a high academic Division III school in Atlanta. We walk through the transition from being a Division III outfielder who just wanted to be in the line up to an every staple behind the dish in his second year at GT! Jack spent summer 2018 with us @ WNY Strike Zone while he played for the PGCBL Champion Niagara Power where he put up All-Star numbers and really turned heads with his pop swinging wood. He got the chance to catch for the Macon Bacon in The Coastal Plains league when he was unsure about his future in baseball, and my goodness is the game & his team lucky to have him! An absolute dog behind the dish, a nightmare for opposing pitchers in the box, and he can find you a nice home in the area, Jack is our brother and we hope you enjoy what he has to say!

Episode VIII brings us to Seattle, Washington where we find Driveline Baseball & my guy Brett F****** Cook! Brett is a former Niagara University Purple Eagle; and is currently a Floor Trainer at Driveline Baseball where they train some of the best athletes that play our game at any level! He went all-in on his own pitching development when he found himself moving to Seattle at age 19 to train while he was at a JUCO in Texas. Cook’s work ethic and understanding of how the human body moves gave him an edge and he went on to be a Division 1 pitcher all the way across the country. Brett gives us the best ways to utilize Driveline’s technology and their development tools no matter your age or skill level!
