Ep 8 When the Emperor Calls   This is a great conversation with cannabis journalist Mary Schumacher. She walks us into the history of the most influential book to the cannabis community, The Emperor Wears No Clothes. Mary's first-hand accounts offer an insight into experiences that very few people can begin to imagine. Ep 5 The Pandemic of the 80s  Wayne Justman gives us a first-hand account of working with Dennis Peron inside of the world's first medical marijuana club.  This episode takes a deep dive into the AIDS crisis of the 80s and 90s. Called the "gay plague", it was largely ignored by the White House and the CDC as thousands of people died in the gay community. Even after President Ronald Reagan acknowledged it in 1985, they were still in danger from the war on drugs.

EP 4 Hemp in the Heartland  In this episode, we talk to Colby Gardner of the Iowa Hemp Company on what it is like to be growing legal hemp in Iowa. For over 80 years it has been illegal to grow cannabis of any kind in the midwest. Recently the Federal Government legalized the growing and production of Hemp in all of its forms. That opened to doors for a third generational farmer to plant CBD hemp in an old cow lot. His legal crop is one of the first to be planted in Iowa soil in over 80 years.

Ep 3 None of This is New  Geralyn JoAnna brings some serious logic to the lopsidedness of our community with an open conversation about cannabis gentrification, privilege, and people still in jail for possession. An activist, podcast host, singer, fiancée, and mother, she left Atlanta to move to California to find a cannabis community.  As a singer, she has opened up shows for singers like Pattie LeBelle and John Legend and now holds space on Instagram Live with her co-hosts of The Puff Show.
