This is the perfect way to move from the Cemetery Wanderers Series into Haunted Dollhouses and Creepy Miniatures!

This is the first of a series about Cemetery Wanderers. I remember the days of cleaning graves with my mom and people looking at us like we were crazy. Going back and forth from the water fountain to get more clean water. 

Ron seeks out the stories and shares them on his YouTube channel. Some of these visits are epic and full of beauty. Flying over a snow-covered cemetery without feeling the cold, it's like a dream and Ron makes it happen with his experience with drones and videography.

NOUFAUX is an artist who specializes in combining an Art Nouveau aesthetic with imagery and symbolism that evokes romance and beauty...and she does it using Classic Monsters. Dracula, Dr. Frankenstein's monster, Swamp Thing and more. Her collage and digital art concepts come together to create Faux Art Nouveau which brings the name NOUFAUX. Her work is stunning, but the meaning is much more than the beautiful facade. Look further.

Well! We touched on so much during this interview. I felt like we've known each other forever. I can't wait to Have Luther on again!

There is a whole extra episode in just our prep talk: cats, beheadings, punk rock, propaganda, influencers, vanitas still-lifes and more! I had to cut all that out so this episode would actually be about Luther and his work. I want him to be rightfully showcased. 

Luther goes by Spotless_marxx and silent Mic on social media. His blog is a playground for dry humor. He's creating an interactive tarot deck that speaks and moves! Sounds magical right? In so many ways. 

Luther will be invited back in the near future to talk about art in tarot.

A movie experience can stick with us for life! It’s the story, the feeling it evoked in is, the grossness or the fear we had in that moment can be brought back in one memory and one violent shudder. In my opinion, The perfect storm comes about when there is a concept for a film that’s carried out in the coming together of many artists. The writer, the director, the actors, the set designers and makeup artists. Today I’m speaking with a special effects makeup artist who teaches her craft and creates some beautifully Gory pieces. Today’s featured artist is Brooke Weston. She has been featured in some of the coolest places around LA, and Galleries across the US. La Luz de Jesus, Monsterpalooza & The Mystic Museum to name a few.  She uses two of my favorite mediums, taxidermy and miniatures. She creates tiny worlds within the concaves of damaged, abandoned, disheveled taxidermy pieces that have probably existed as long as she has. These vintage taxidermy pieces are given a new purpose, recycled into art. Pieces that would have otherwise become trash. She repairs and mends them so they can become a literal home for her vision. Did you know taxidermy was hollow? Well it is...and Brooke fills that space with creativity and wonder. Some folks think her work is creepy, weird, odd...some are repulsed...I saw her work making it’s rounds in miniature communities on social media and not without its controversy, but as with all art, if you keep looking and if you meet the artist, sometimes it helps to understand more about the world and even more about topics that are a little triggering for you. I saw her work and was immediately transported to her magical tiny world. Interpretation is always up to the audience no matter how the artist feels. Let’s meet brook now.
