Hollywood Week

Ladies & Gentlemen, we’re living in a very unique time…a time where box office numbers are more inconsistent than the quality of this podcast. Is it the Delta Airlines variant?? Maybe the convenience of HBO Max?? The lack of new John Stamos projects?? Whatever the cause, the box office is on a roller coaster ride of chaos, so we thought we would take a look at TEN of the biggest movies coming out later this year, and try to predict their success or failure! Get your calculators ready!

We also review the brand new Ryan Reynold’s movie “Free Guy”, the Apple TV exclusive “Coda”, and the newest animated entry in the MCU, “What If”…

Episode 31
The Box Office Hates James Gunn
Let’s Go

Ladies & Gentlemen! We all love a redemption story…the ex drug addict that got clean and now mentors young kids…the sub par podcast hosts that never gave up and now are still sub par but never gave up…and most relevant to Episode 30, “THE SUICIDE SQUAD”!!!

That’s right…one of the worst movies in film history is getting a fresh cost of paint, courtesy of our boy James Gunn! Does this movie dominate the original? Is it TOO over the top with it’s violence and vulgarity? Where the hell is Jared Leto!?? Let’s dive in…

We’re also discussing other films that deserve a second chance, the conspiracy theory around the upcoming “Free Guy”, and the best scenes involving the inside of a refrigerator.

Will Kevin James fall through a coffee table while farting?? Will Steve Carell leaving “The Office” ever be forgiven?? Only one way to find out!

We also review the ambitious new A24 film “The Green Knight”, and the Studio Ghibli animated classic “Princess Mononoke”…come for the medieval Dev Patel drama, stay for the magical forest spirits and worm infested demon god animal hybrid things!! Ohhhhh, and LOTS of trailers to discuss…
