If you can, join us outdoors this Sunday, September 27, at the Holmesville Church of the Brethren. Our service starts at 10:30 a.m.

Please join us in prayer! Our hymn is "O bless the Lord, my soul." Lyrics are found here: https://hymnary.org/text/o_bless_the_lord_my_soul_his_grace_to_th.

This morning's worship service will be a little different! It is Pastor Tim Amor's turn to present the sermon. So I include the hymn here. Lyrics are to be found at https://hymnary.org/text/be_thou_my_vision_o_lord_of_my_heart.

Pastor Tim's YouTube channel is Beatrice Mennonite Church. Here is the link: ttps://youtu.be/2XKwt53XjoE.

Please join us in prayer! Our hymn is "Praise to the Lord, the Almighty," number 37 in our hymnal. Lyrics may be found at https://hymnary.org/text/praise_to_the_lord_the_almighty_the_king. (They are a little different, but they will work.)

We are starting a series on favorite hymns of faith! This first service in the series focuses on the Brethren favorite, "Move in our midst." Thanks to Jacob Crouse, who recorded the version we include. He first made this version available for our denominational Virtual Love Feast this last spring.

Our first hymn is "O worship the King, all glorious above." Lyrics are found here: http://www.hymntime.com/tch/htm/o/w/t/k/owtking.htm. We sing the first, second, fourth and fifth verses. Our last hymn, of course, is "Move in our midst." Lyrics are found here: https://www.hymnlyrics.org/lyricsx/move_in_our_midst.html.

Please pray with us today! Our prayer service includes the hymn, "Now thank we all our God," the lyrics of which can be found here: https://hymnary.org/text/now_thank_we_all_our_god.

"While We Wait" is our sermon topic this week! Our hymns are "Thy Word" (lyrics at https://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/amygrant/thyword.html), and "Guide me, O thou great Jehovah" (lyrics at http://hymnbook.igracemusic.com/hymns/guide-me-o-thou-great-jehovah).

Let love be genuine! Our scripture is Romans 12:19-21, a prescription for how to live together in Christian community. Our hymn lyrics can be found at https://hymnary.org/text/come_we_that_love_the_lord_and_let_our and https://hymnary.org/text/blest_be_the_tie_that_binds. We'll only sing the first four verses of the last hymn.

Pray with us, won't you? The lyrics to our hymn are here: http://www.nak-gesangbuch.de/index.php?html=ennehhym561. It's not exactly our version, but close enough.
