Please join us in prayer! Our emphasis for these weeks is the Lord's Prayer. Our hymn is Hymnal number 124, "O worship the Lord." Lyrics are found at https://hymnary.org/text/o_worship_the_lord_in_the_beauty_of_glor.
Remember, your pastor is praying for you. If you have any prayer requests, please call, email, or message. We will hold your concerns up to God.
"Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, so that you may discern what is the will of God - what is good and acceptable and perfect." - Romans 12:2. Are you a transformed nonconformist for the Lord?
Seek ye first the kingdom of God
Ask, and it shall be opened unto you,
Our final hymn is "Take my life." Lyrics may be found here: https://hymnary.org/text/take_my_life_and_let_it_be.
Our focus this season is the Lord's Prayer. Please join us as we pray for ourselves, our dear ones, our neighbors, church and world. Our hymn is "Great is thy faithfulness" number 327 in our blue hymnal.
Our message is about guarding the tongue. As the Apostle James tells us, "We all stumble in many ways. Anyone who is never at fault in what they say is perfect, able to keep their whole body in check." Our hymns are Holy, Holy, Holy (https://hymnary.org/text/holy_holy_holy_lord_god_almighty_early), a fun new song with lyrics from Psalm 133, and "Joy to the World" (https://hymnary.org/text/joy_to_the_world_the_lord_is_come).
Join us in prayer! Our hymn is "Why should I feel discouraged?" The lyrics may be found here: https://hymnary.org/text/why_should_i_feel_discouraged. We'll sing only the first two verses, and repeat the refrain.
Let's remember, even in this troubled time, that Jesus taught us not to worry, but to seek first the Kingdom of God.
"Out of the Cave; Out of the Boat" is our message for this week! Our hymns are "My life flows on" (lyrics here: https://hymnary.org/text/my_life_flows_on_in_endless_song), and "Here I am, Lord" (lyrics here: http://catholichymn.blogspot.com/2015/07/Here-I-Am-Lord.html).
Join us in prayer and praise! Our hymn is "Oh for a thousand tongues to sing," from the red hymnal #114. The lyrics may be found here:
Oh, for a thousand tongues to sing
My gracious Master and my God,
You are enough!
The lyrics to the first hymn are found at https://muzikum.eu/en/123-24610-519559/dean-phelps/lord-you-have-come-to-the-lakeshore-lyrics.html. You are welcome to sing the chorus in Spanish, if you like! Or you may sing it in English along with Pastor Mary Beth.
We love the lyrics:
Lord, You have come to the lakeshore
O Lord, with Your eyes You have searched me,
God loves us all so much! Join us in prayer as we ponder God's great promises. Our hymn is "For God so loved us" Hymnal # 167. The words are here: http://ehymnbook.org/CMMS/hymnSong.php?id=pd08708.
We encourage you to sing along. They who sing, pray twice!
Nothing in all creation can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus!
