Mike Brown carves pumpkins. But not your typical Jack o'Lantern-style pumpkins. These are much, much more.
Check out his Instagram feed @michael_brown04 to see what we mean. And while you're scrolling the wonders, have a listen to his story.
Happy Halloween!

We love it when we find things that make us go wow.
The recently re-launched website RJC.ca made us go wow.
We're currently working with RJC on Postmark Group's "The Eddie Building" in Cumberland, BC.
But, we had to know more about that website. So we talked with Tanya Kennedy Flood, corporate marketing and communications leader, and confirmed what we suspected: that the site was designed and assembled with painstaking attention to detail. Tanya is a builder. Deliberate and sure. Her vision was developed early on by an unsuspecting father, who, by sharing his passion for business at the nightly dinner table, equipped his daughter with the tools to succeed on an international scale.
Her story is awesome.
Thanks for listening!
And check out that website.
In this episode, Karen and Joshua from DaDeO Bar & Grill, one of Edmonton's precious gems tell us about their diner notebook, "The Holes In Your Salt Shaker Are Too Big". DaDeO is a classic ’50s diner serving New Orleans & Southern favorites such as po' boys, jambalaya & gumbo.

And to celebrate our new WFH reality, we've left in the happy sounds of children playing.
Copyright has no place in Architecture.
Do you agree? Disagree? In this episode, holo-blok CEO Roddy Handa shares his thoughts behind what led him to publish his 6-part LinkedIn article. The full version of the article is now available HERE.
This is a strong topic. It broaches many industries. We'd love to know your thoughts. Feel free to use the recording app and leave your feedback.
Thanks for listening.

This is a very special podcast. It's a companion piece to our Instagram diary. It's also a celebration of our second architectural competition. We're proud of the work we did. Join us for a deep dive into our process as we worked across borders and Slack to bring to life our four boards in an incredibly short amount of time. Quinta do Monte D'Oiro
Attention notebook fans!! Yes, we're talking about paper notebooks. Lovers of Leuchtturm, fans of Field Notes, rooters of Rhodia, mongers of Moleskine, take note (pun totally intended) and welcome to the first of our mini-episodes.
This series is all about notebooks.
Intimate, geeky, deep dives into the notebook habits of our favourite creatives. First up, holo-blok's own Brendan Lawlor.
If you don't care about notebooks, you probably won't like this particular series. But if you carry and use any kind of notebook, you're gonna love this. Enjoy!
Hi. We're just checking in. Wanted to let you know we're still busy with the holo-blog podcast. Missing you. Hope you are well.

Jessy Nerval is the Director of Marketing for Nerval Corp and one of the most active philanthropists we know. It’s hard to keep up with all his charity projects, but together with his family and friends, he’s involved in feeding the locally homeless, mentoring and feeding local school children, raising awareness for numerous causes and spreading as much hope and joy as they possibly can. They’re an inspiring force. Jesse also produces and hosts a YouTube project called the Perspective Podcast.
We caught up with one of our city’s busiest for some tips on how we can get started with our own acts of charity.
