New Toys, Vintage Toys and Hot Takes!

Topics

*Intro - part of the Beyond the Blast Doors Network

*Josh opens up a couple packages: Black Series Plo Koon and Vintage Star Wars Laser Blaster (DL-44) in the box, and Andy got a new shirt

*Collector Tip: Make a plan. Andy’s plan to get an Ewok Battle Wagon comes to fruition! He should have it this week and it will only be missing one piece - which he looks forward to finding.

*News: the passing of Wilford Brimley, aka Not Briqualon from The Battle for Endor

*Easter Egg: The Battle for Endor is where Porgs are introduced (as seen in Clone Wars and the Mandalorian).

*Poll: Which would you rather have - a vinyl caped Jawa or a double-telescoping light saber Luke Skywalker? (54% DTLuke)

*Hot (-ish) Takes: Andy says the soundtrack for the video game Shadows of the Empire is as good as ANY SW soundtrack that isn’t the original Star Wars or Empire Strikes Back. Josh is tired/angry/disappointed in Baby Yoda march (poor timing killed his love for owning the merch). What do you think of the takes?

Rey’s Grandmother Revealed (#Galpatine) and Fan Questions

2:39 - TK-1151 | Star Wars Celebration 1 Jacket

10:17 - #showmeyourcollection

29:20 - Rey's Grandmother Revealed?

39:01 - Questions from the fans!

Topics

*Intro - part of the Beyond the Blast Doors Network

*#showmeyourcollection Matt @univerc0llect0r from the UK, his favorite items are a vintage white x-wing (because it reminds him of being a kid) and an Imperial Combat Assault Tank from Rogue One (because it’s the first thing he bought after overcoming a serious illness. He also has Black Series, Vintage Collection, Gentle Giant busts, helmets, vintage carded and loose figures.

*Rey’s grandmother could possibly be a known character in the Star Wars universe: Sly Moore. She can be seen by Palpatine’s side in brief shots in Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith. She is Force-Sensitive too. inverse.com ran the story, and it’s plausible.

*Fan mail questions (3).
