For a long time, I didn’t treat my body like something sacred.
I treated it like something to fix. To shrink. To push harder. To criticize.
And maybe you’ve been there too.
In this deeply personal and honest episode, I’m sharing part of my own health journey — walking through lymphedema, chronic inflammation, burnout, and the slow realization that I can’t keep pouring out for everyone else while completely neglecting myself.
Because here’s the truth we don’t talk about enough:
You cannot steward your calling well if you’re constantly abandoning your body.
This conversation isn’t about dieting, hustling, or chasing perfection.
It’s about learning to see yourself the way God sees you.
It’s about honoring your body as the home He chose for your soul.
Together, we talk about:
- Moving our bodies with gratitude instead of punishment
- Nourishing ourselves without guilt or extremes
- Resting without feeling lazy
- Setting boundaries without shame
- Speaking to ourselves with kindness
- Letting go of body criticism and choosing compassion
- And how to steward our health in a way that feels sustainable, gentle, and God-honoring
I also share vulnerably about:
- My experience with lymphedema
- The emotional toll of feeling disconnected from my body
- The lies I used to believe about myself
- And how God is slowly reshaping my mindset from striving → stewardship
This episode feels like a heart-to-heart. The kind where you realize you’re not alone.
Because your body isn’t something to fight against.
It’s something to care for.
To thank.
To protect.
To honor.
Friend, you are not behind.
You are not broken.
And you are not meant to punish yourself into wellness.
You are already enough — and your body deserves to be treated like it.
