That’s right folks, it’s time for the San Diego Comic Con, and Ol’ Santa Nerd has brought a whole slew of new trailers for us to drool over. There were some truly great trailers this year like Aquaman, Shazam, and Dragon Ball Super: Broly. Sadly there were some stinkers too like Titans, and Godzilla: King of Monsters. There were even a few unexpected ones like Star Wars: Clone Wars Season 7. Its a helluva time to be a nerd and we are both like kids at Christmas opening our new toys.

On this episode of the Holy Nerdy Podcast, we came in with a lot to talk about, but got sidetracked on the topic of Papa John’s founder John Schnatter’s terrible, horrible, no good, very bad week. An audio recording surfaced of him using racial slurs during a conference call. Ironically enough, this call was originally intended to be a training session on how to avoid public relation mistakes....Whoops! This led to hilarious discussions of other celebrities in the media like Chris Hardwick, Jared Fogel, Jerry Sandusky, and John Kricfalusi, who were famously ousted for being really terrible people.

On this episode of the Holy Nerdy Podcast, after a bit of negative kickback we recieved concerning our comments towards a certain celebrity, we decided to make amends and issue a very heartfelt apology which we hope he accepts. After that is out of the way, and due to the fact that on our last episode Caleb said that he wasn’t a fan of the Lion King animated movie, we figured we’d sit down and give our Top 5 Favorite Disney Animated Movies. Surprisingly Caleb’s list seemed to favor swashbuckling action adventure movies and mine seemed to favor Disney Princesses. Go figure.
