On this episode of the Holy Nerdy Podcast, our editing software decided to up and leave on its Christmas break early, so this episode will have to remain unedited. We hope you can forgive all of our constant “likes, ums, and pauses”. Anyways, on today’s episode we begin with a few “Trailer Reactions” to some upcoming movies whom had their first trailers drop recently. Next up we cover some possible plot leak spoilers for “Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker”. On this episode of the Holy Nerdy Podcast, Thanksgiving is here and Star Wars fans have a lot to be thankful for this year. With “The Mandalorian” killing it right now and “The Rise of Skywalker” coming out in a month, it’s a good time to be a Star Wars fan. Caleb has finally finished “Star Wars: Rebels” and he and I give our review of it and episodes 3 & 4 of “The Mandalorian”. We also spend a good hour and a half having one of our best Star Wars discussions ever. It’s odd hearing Caleb talk about Star Wars in such a positive light. Finally, in honor of Thanksgiving, we put together a list of our “Top 3 Best/Worst Thanksgiving Day Foods.”

On this episode of the Holy Nerdy Podcast, it’s been one hell of a week for us behind the scenes. Caleb’s kids have the cold and the flu so we are going to keep it short and sweet this week. On this episode of the Holy Nerdy Podcast, it’s been three weeks since our last episode and quite a bit has happened in that time. For starters, Halloween came and went and since we were MIA, we never got to do a Halloween episode. Since we love the holiday so much we said screw it, we are doing a Halloween episode in November. On this episode of the Holy Nerdy Podcast, it’s the first episode back from our mini hiatus since the birth of Caleb’s daughter, and we hit the ground running with a look back at Paul Reuben’s run in with law at that adult theater back in 1991 and how we think Pee-Wee got a raw deal. After taking the humor a bit too far we switch gears and Caleb tries to sway my decision about whether or not I should go see the “Joker” movie. After he fails at that we talk a bit about the new season of “Survivor: Island of the Idols” before ending with a story that literally had me crying in laughter at the end. So much so that we had to end the episode early.

On this episode of the Holy Nerdy Podcast, last Friday saw a very rare occurrence, a harvest moon during Friday the 13th. Caleb, being a horror buff, was elated and brought that excitement to the studio. Loving games as much as he does, he decided to compile some trivia that oddly enough had a mix of elements from the “Friday the 13th” horror film series as well as the “Harvest Moon” video game franchise. Before that though, he had a few creepy and downright unsettling tales to tell of stalkers and creepers, including one especially unnerving story about a hotel guest and her secret, hidden “roommate” that makes our flesh crawl.
