Today’s Top Tune: Holy Sun Opera House “Voice of Gob”

LA-based Holy Sun Opera House is the brainchild of classically trained soprano and drummer Krissy Barker and composer dl Salo. Blending symphonic synths, operatic vocals, thunderous drumming, and full choir arrangements, the duo create music that moves between joy, terror, love, and grief in a dreamlike swirl. Often likened to a band that might play the Roadhouse in Twin Peaks, you can hear that haunting atmosphere on “Voice of Gob,” from their self-titled debut album out May 15.
