John 20 records the resurrection of Jesus Christ and His appearances to His disciples. Mary Magdalene finds the empty tomb and sees the risen Lord. Jesus appears to the disciples, gives them peace, shows His wounds, and sends them as the Father sent Him. Thomas later sees Jesus and believes, declaring, “My Lord and my God.” This chapter shows that Jesus is risen, fulfills the Scriptures, and gives life to those who believe in His name.
