Home, Alone

We finally made it to see DAY 45, aka GILL NET DAY! And in typical Chilko Lake fashion, the fishing is lack luster and our contestants continue their rich vegetarian diets.

Anya and Josh discuss "Alone" ep. 8 "The Grizzly" what will Clay do when that bear comes for you?

In this episode we discuss Episode 7 of Season 8. GOLLUM AND DRAW BRIDGES OH MY! Clay makes a cute stuffed animal while Theresa hangs on by a string (pun intended). The Bear Encounter Counter is at 25!

What an episode! This was basically the Clay show with stoicism and rainbows.

First half of the episode:

- we cover Matt's fireside chat with Nikki

- some behind the curtain information on production, fishing regulations, and weather.

Second Half:

- we talk contestants, current standings, and our predictions

- are y'all tired of fish traps yet?

- sadly this week we said farewell to one of our favorite contestants

THE BEAR ENCOUNTER-COUNTER! I said I would remember! On this episode Anya and Josh discuss Ep 5 "The Buck" which really should've been named "The Fish" since that's all anyone talked about, or lack-thereof. We did some format changes to the show and hope you like it, please let us know by rating and leaving a review, or hit us up on the gram @homealone.pod

Meet our new co-host Josh! We covered Alone S8 Episodes 3 & 4, introduced a bear tracker, and celebrated some tiny fish.

Get ready for some weird bear facts, more questionable gear choices, and first look at the rest of our contestants for this season. DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY ANTS ARE IN 100 GRAMS? NOW YOU WILL! Also I may or may not have been dared by Max to eat some roasted crickets, yumm.
