Home Before Dark

And the nominees are!  Now that the 2017 Golden Globe Nominees are announced, we bring our buddy JP on to run through all of the nominations and our picks for all of them, even if we have no clue what we’re talking about.  Our favorite actors, actresses, movies, and tv shows, nothing gets left out of this one!  We finally manage to scratch the surface of our Westworld discussion, as well as how it stacks up to it’s contenders Stranger Things, Game of Thrones, The Crown, and This is Us.

Home Before Dark hearkens back to a time when you and your friends in the neighborhood were forced inside. Where you discovered a level of brotherhood/sisterhood that could only be forged through playing video games, watching movies, television and discussing the finer things in life over an Orange Lavaburst Hi-C and Bagel Bites. We take the time out to talk about the current games we're playing, movies we've seen recently(new or old) and all the things in between.

It’s almost that time.  The streetlights just came on and you had better leave soon to be Home Before Dark.  Find the whole gang on twitter @timherb and @the_ARC1TECT and collectively @HomeB4Dark

In this extended play, Tim catches up with long-time friend, and friend of the show, Keith(Rob) Varden. Rob's spending time over in Germany on a three year order for the Air Force. They sit and chat about the goings on over there, and topics ranging from indescribable smells to philosophy on accomplishing personal projects.

Kevin and Tim return after a Thanksgiving break to talk about what they've been up to and give their thoughts on the goings on in video games, music and more.

Kevin talks about his adventures and reviews Titanfall 2 after a few weeks of play, likening it to Portal 2. Tim, meanwhile, has been playing the frustrating, yet fulfilling, 8-bit Zelda clone, Hyper Light Drifter.

They both voice their unbelievable displeasure of the new Donald Glover/Childish Gambino record "Awaken, My Love." They finish off by talking about the music they've been bumping lately including CHON, Frank Carter and the Rattlesnakes, and Strawberry Girls.

It’s all over, folks! The votes are in, and the stage is set for the 45th President of the United States of America.  Donald J. Trump will take office and we as a nation are now collectively processing the events that have transpired over this past year.  In this episode we discuss not only Mr. Trump, but Hillary Clinton and Gary Johnson as well.  We give our thoughts on the election and what it has meant for each of us personally.  We talk about both the pros and the cons of each, and why we ultimately voted the way we did, or didn’t.  Whether you voted Republican, Democrat, Libertarian, or wrote in Harambe, ultimately, this election and every one throughout history is what makes this country so great.  Our ability to ensure that every voice is heard, whether we agree or not, and to collectively move in a direction that is best for all of us.  This episode is about all of that.
