In the next few weeks, we will be speaking with different eldest daughters and their experience in the dating world. 

This week, I am joined by Winnie. We discuss her dating life and how being an eldest daughter played a role. We speak about married life to a second eldest son, who is also from an immigrant home. We also discuss how supportive her parents were during break-ups, which was the most amazing thing ever!!

With our new rant sessions, we thought it would be good to have a quick round-up of the conversation and issues that continue to affect our community. This week we tackle three things, birth order, impostor syndrome in eldest daughters (ie you don’t feel like you should be having eldest daughter issues) and seeing our parents as everyday people rather than your parents.

Loneliness has been affecting a large amount of the population. This week I speak about how loneliness manifests ad how we can deal with it from an eldest daughter's perspective. 

This week, I am joined by Cessiah. She speaks about her role in a Filipino household and navigating her way around being a caregiver to her non-verbal, autistic, less-abled baby sister. We also speak about her career, going to therapy and dealing with trauma.
