In this evening exposition of Acts 10:24–35, Pastor Rockhill traces the providential meeting of the apostle Peter and Cornelius, a devout Roman centurion whose prayers and alms had come before God. His central burden is that the gospel breaks down every wall of separation between Jew and Gentile, fulfilling the ancient covenant promise that in Abraham's seed all the nations of the earth would be blessed. Pastor Rockhill draws attention to two intertwined themes God has been pressing upon the congregation: the church's calling to faithful evangelism, and the fulfillment of God's promise to bless the nations. He shows how Peter, having received his vision, now understands that he must call no man common or unclean whom God has cleansed, coming without objection to a Gentile home once forbidden to him. Careful doctrinal instruction accompanies the narrative. When Cornelius falls at Peter's feet, Peter refuses worship, declaring himself a mere man—a truth Pastor Rockhill applies against the veneration of saints and images and the denial of Christ's deity. He points to Ephesians 2 and Galatians 3 to show that believers of every nation are made one new man in Christ. The application is warm and searching: God shows no partiality, so His people must receive one another as brothers and sisters regardless of race or station, and must always be ready to give a reason for the hope within them as they carry the gospel to every tribe and tongue.

The sermon emphasizes the critical importance of personal evangelism by examining the account of the Gerasene demoniac in Luke 8. It highlights how Jesus commanded the healed man to return home and share his testimony, establishing a model for believers to witness in their immediate contexts without delay or dilution. The message encourages Christians to overcome discouragement and complacency by recognizing that their daily environments are primary mission fields. Through biblical examples and practical application, it urges the congregation to intentionally share the gospel with family, friends, and neighbors. Ultimately, the preacher calls for a renewed zeal in sharing Christ's saving work, promising joy and divine reward for faithful witness.

SIGNED, SEALED, DELIVERED — I'M HIS! Ephesians 1:13–14 KJV Signed by the Promise — Sealed by the Spirit — Delivered by the Son SIGNED — My Name Is Written Down. Jesus told His disciples to rejoice because their names were written in heaven. The greatest question is not whether our names are recorded on a church roll, but whether they are written in the Lamb's Book of Life. SEALED — I Belong to God. Ephesians teaches that believers are "sealed with that holy Spirit of promise." The Holy Spirit is God's mark of ownership and the earnest of our inheritance, reminding us that we belong to the King and that God will complete what He has begun. DELIVERED — Jesus Set Me Free. Colossians 1:13 declares that Christ "hath delivered us from the power of darkness." Through His blood we have been redeemed, forgiven, and brought into His kingdom. And our final deliverance is still ahead, when Christ returns and takes His redeemed people home. The message closes with one deeply personal question: Do you know that you belong to Jesus Christ? For everyone who has truly trusted Him, we can rejoice: SIGNED BY THE PROMISE. SEALED BY THE SPIRIT. DELIVERED BY THE SON. I'M HIS! And one glorious day—DELIVERED HOME!
