As his mother's work forced her to move from one country to another, Etienne spent most of his childhood abroad, before coming back to France for his studies. Between Kenya, Brazil and La Réunion, it helped him understand what he wanted in a home, and how this experience has shaped his relationship with others.

This episode is a story in two parts. President of the English Speaking Society in the University of South Brittany, Lorient, Emelie did not always want to study English. She was first attracted to Spanish, but her choices and the teachers she met in her life impacted and changed her decisions.

Born in Madagascar, she moved in France quite young and had to adapt to her new culture. Questions as to whether this very particular experience has impacted the way she sees herself now are raised, as we dive deeper into how she managed to find a balance between the two cultures.
