WHAT A RACE, what a weekend! In this episode we cover the action-packed weekend at Silverstone, starting with a Friday Quali followed by a Saturday Sprint and a controversial GP on Sunday. It's a shame that so much coverage goes to the Verstappen and Hamilton crash because there were so many story lines at the GP (so great to see a Ferrari on the podium again!) but - of course we're going to talk about the controversy. You might have heard the commentators mention soft tyres or hard tyres, but do you know the strategy behind each choice? We discuss the rules behind tyre usage in each Formula 1 grand prix, how they play into each team's strategy, the differences between the tyre compounds in Formula 1, and a bit of Formula 1 tyre history.
