This week was hectic and we couldn't get a new episode recorded so I figured it may be fun to look back at some of our favorite moments from past episodes and reminise and laugh and hear all the old running jokes that we forgot about. These clips all come from the first 20 or so episodes and some are fan favoritres and some are ones we laugh at to this day. We will be back with a new show next week but we hope you will check out our greatest hits and if you are a new listener then consider this your gateway episode.

Oh man, the Hustle was strong this week! We finally got another Ice-T movie on the show and he shoots fireballs at people in this one and sets himself on fire and survives!!! I'm not joking! We also are bringing back the No Limit Records connection because this film also stars Silkk The Shocker. The convo about the movie goes kinda quick because the movie was only 59 mins long but the convo afterwords got heated! PJ defends some comments he made last episode and then he and The Spirit get into a spirited debate about what decides a persons sexual orientation and attraction. We also talk about the Permit Patty foolishness, hilarious porn noises, whoopins, Netflix racism and I tell the story of PJ really wanting to let people know he wanted to have an orgy. Yeah, you should definitely listen this week. Hope you enjoy the episode!

Have you ever been fooled by a promising dvd cover at the video store? We were definitely fooled by this one but it brought about a really fun episode. The movie this week is Survival of the Illest and it stars a bunch of people you dont probably know and some rappers you should know, like Scarface, E-40, Bun-B and Big Moe! It was a struggle to find the plot for this one.
Also on the show, you can hear Brent get angry about uninspired light skin jokes, PJ learns about dish soap, knowledge is dropped about forced change in relationships, we talk about simp anthems in r&b, questions are asked that lead us into long tangents, lots of music talk, theres another installment of "P's Intermissions" and Brent gives a quick, mini review of Moana. Alot going on, longer episode but alot of fun. We hope you enjoy it.

We're keepin' it hood this week and are talking about King of New York from 1990, directed by Abel Ferrera and starring Christopher Walken, Laurence Fishbourne, David Caruso, Wesley Snipes and has a bomb soundtrack by Schoolly-D!
Of course we talk about a bunch of other stuff too. Brent goes through the Imdb top 30 movies, Infinity War is spoiled, PJ is introduced to Float On by The Floaters, we talk of our dislike of country music, Brent makes PJ break with a joke, dummy kills are back, we talk about the squashing of the Drake and Pusha-T beef and Brent introduces a new segment to showcase black history even more on the show and more. Had alot going on and we hope you have a lot of fun listening.

The Hood Hustle is still on and we got another Roc-A-Fella Records flick and this time it's Paid In Full from 2002. This one stars Mekhi Phifer, Wood Harris and Cam'Ron as three guys trying to make money in the drug game and dealing with all the things that comes with it and it's even inspired by real events. There is a strong hip-hop influence on this episode as we sing multiple old school songs, talk about Space Jam and it's soundtack, try and figure out childhood mysteries, and tell alot of stories.

PJ is back this week and to celebrate I let him pick the movie we watched and he picked the hood classic, "State Property" from 2002. This movie is starring all the top Roc-A-Fella hip hop artists from around that time and it gives us plenty to talk about. We are also joined by the spirit in this episode and later in the show we have a second spirit pop up so it's a full house this episode! After the movie talk we got into a long discussion about Christianity and The Bible, Roseanne getting canceled, rap beef, PJ learns about softcore porn, Brent gets yelled at for not having seen "Set It Off", live reactions to "The Happytime Murders" trailer and discussions about ringtone rappers. There's alot here and it's a longer episode so kick back and enjoy!

PJ is out again this week but The Spirit has stepped back in and she brings to you this week, Black Mama White Mama! This is an early Pam Grier flick from the "Women In Chains" subgenre that was somehow popular in the 60's and 70's. Is this just another exploitative film for women or is this a feminist classic? Also hear all about some craziness going on in the world today and Brent has a few tips for anyone out there who needs 'em.

It's time for another flick that PJ hasn't seen and this time it's "The Human Centipede" from 2009. This movie is notorious for it's story of three people being sewn anus to mouth but is this movie any good, is it even that scary? Listen and find out what we think about it and if we even like it. We are also joined by The Spirit this week and she definitely has some things to say about this movie and about the stories in our post movie discussions. We hope you enjoy the episode and there's a little surprise at the opening too....

The Hustle has been going strong for a whole year! To celebrate we are giving you a long, jam packed episode where we talk about Blackenstein from 1973. This flick is a blaxploitation horror joint that of course is a remake of Frankenstein and is really weird. Yeah, who would've thought right? We also answer some questions and get into some discussions about Kanye (Unfortunately), Childish Gambino's new music video, fu--ery that has gone down in the news and we give our sincerest thanks to everyone that has listened to the show, followed us, watched our videos, showed us love, designed pictures for us, made us music, gave us promos and have just been there to support and get your Hustle on! Thank you so much!
We also have ALL the promos for you...I'm not joking. Thanks to all our fellow podcasters who have played our promo and we show love by playing ALL of yours. Peace!
