God calls us His children and with that He gives us His love. Satan does not love God's children because they remind him of everything he lost. As believers we must claim our position in God's family and share His love with others. We need to live out God's love. Today on Mother's day we honor the women God has used to so richly bless our lives. Whether a woman is married, single, with or without children, God loves them and has beautiful plans for them. In Proverbs 31 God lays out guidelines to all of us regardless of gender, race or age regarding how to be virtuous. Not all mothers are alike. Not everyone has a strong mother figure in their life, others consider theirs the best ever. What makes a mother exceptional? In any sport, project, school assignment, relationship, the most important aspect if your follow through. Not just starting a project/relationship/assignment but following through. It shows you care, gives you better results and sets you up for the next time. The disciples just saw their leader crucified, resurrected and spent time with him for 40 days after that. They were definitely being stretched. What was His end game and where did they fit in? Where do we fit in? If Jesus is risen, what difference does it make in our life?
