About 5 million students are homeschooled in the U.S. and the number has continued to grow since COVID-19 school closures. Senior Research Fellow at Johns Hopkins University’s Institute for Education Policy Angela Watson, Detroit Free Press Educational Equity Reporter Lily Altavena, and homeschooling parent Leslie Vaughn joins the show.
