Today’s “Hometown Hero” is Buffalo, New York’s Schwartzen Precil. This 25 year-old was abandoned by his parents, and abused in a foster home. He’s now teaching others how to turn obstacles into opportunities.

Today’s “Hometown Hero” is Akoy Agau from Jamestown, New York. He escaped “war-torn” Sudan years ago, and now plays “semi-professional” basketball in Jamestown. His biggest victories though, are taking place off the court.

Today’s “Hometown Heroes” are John & Sue Best from Williamsport, Pennsylvania. They operate a warming center at a local church that’s saving lives, in more ways than one.
