Today’s “Hometown Hero” is Akoy Agau from Jamestown, New York. He escaped “war-torn” Sudan years ago, and now plays “semi-professional” basketball in Jamestown. His biggest victories though, are taking place off the court.

Today’s “Hometown Heroes” are John & Sue Best from Williamsport, Pennsylvania. They operate a warming center at a local church that’s saving lives, in more ways than one.

Today’s “Hometown Hero” is Muncy, Pennsylvania’s Aly Creasy. At ten years-old, she’s helping kids all around the world deal with their fear by giving them a stuffed monkey.

Today’s “Hometown Hero” is Tonawanda, New York’s Dave Monroe. He’s an emergency first responder, who’s helping other first responders cope with life and faith.
