In the Gospel today Jesus says that ‘by your endurance you will gain your souls.’ Well this week I discovered I’m not resilient enough on my own. In the book of Revelation it says that in Heaven God will gently wipe every tear from our eyes. I need people, the church, to do that now. I need the heaven to be real for me now, not just some far away dream.

And like Jesus says, if we’re dishonest in little things, we will be dishonest in big things… But our God is a God of second chances. Our God is always calling us back to him, is constantly offering us his mercy and forgiveness, is always ready to bring healing to our brokenness.
