If you think about it, you have a "toolbox" or at least a junk drawer for the many things that you may need to get the job done. If you are at a friends or loved ones home and need a hammer or measuring tape you simple ask "hey, where's your toolbox? I need a hammer". The purpose of this box is to have, on hand, that which you may need someday in the future without having to spend a lot of time finding it.
