In this timely episode of the Honest Feedback Podcast, Lisset and Brittney answer a heartfelt question from a listener who’s experiencing a profound shift in their personal growth journey. As they evolve and embrace new values, beliefs, and ways of being, they find themselves feeling increasingly out of place with old friends and family. Yet, they haven’t quite found their new tribe—those kindred spirits who truly resonate with their new vibe.
To support them with answering this question, they asked a dear friend and fellow coach, Kyle Tennyson to weigh in as well. Together we dive into the complexities of outgrowing relationships and the challenges that come with feeling disconnected from your previous circles. We also share personal insights and practical advice on how to navigate this often lonely and confusing phase of transformation, offering hope and guidance for those who are seeking a community that aligns with who they are becoming.
In This Episode, We Discuss:
Listener Challenge: Take a moment this week to reflect on your current relationships. Are there connections that feel more like a past version of you? If so, consider how you might gently create space for new, aligned relationships to enter your life.

How long are you going to wait to live the life you want?
This week Britt and Lisset are pumped to talk about one of their favorite topics and top values: growth! Personal development has changed our lives in the most extraordinary ways and we wouldn't be the people we are without it.
We got a text from someone who is interested but also unsure, "how to know what's right for them, how much does it cost, why do a seminar when I can read a book?"
We get into the nitty gritty of why we believe in personal development, how specifically it has improved our lives, how much we invest in this area of life, and so much more. This is an episode you will want to to come back to again and again because there is so much wisdom, guidance AND we shoutout teachers and schools that have been game changers on our paths.
We would love to hear from you, what resonated, what didn't and where have you found amazing teachers and mentors on your path?

This week we have a podcast party with our dear friend Sari Cowsert who is the host of the Uncharted Way Podcast. She and Goddess Brittney have a deep vulnerable conversation about Brittney's path to becoming the woman she is today. We are excited for you to hear Brittney's unfiltered truth. CW: in this episode we non graphically discuss sexual assault, self harm behaviors, and depression.
Imagine the suffocating darkness of depression—feeling so alone and hopeless that you question the purpose of waking up each day. Brittney was there, tangled in depression, self-harm, and the unbearable cloak of people-pleasing. Her father, a minister, and her environment held expectations that overshadowed her true self, leaving her in a mental health closet.
But in a one pivotal moment, she decided she wanted to live authentically. This wasn’t just an easy lightbulb moment; it was a clawing through the quicksand of societal expectations to turn up the volume on her own intuition. Her journey took her through profound lows, including a staggering moment of release in a pole dancing studio—brought there by her mentor, an unexpected angel in her quest for self-discovery.
This episode is raw and transformative. It’s about showing up for yourself when every societal cue tells you to conform. It’s about asking for help, seeking mentorship, and embracing the staggering power of self-love. It's not just about surviving—it's about thriving, finding joy, and, most crucially, honoring and following your intuition. This isn’t just her story; elements of it deeply reflect in many of our lives. It’s a compelling illustration of turning down the noise of external expectations to finally hear your own voice.
